For Jerinx SID, Social Media Activist Deni Adam Confirms Legal Process Continues

JAKARTA - Social media activist Adam Deni stressed that he would not open the way for peace or close the door to mediation with musician I Gede Aryastina alias Jerinx regarding the alleged crime of threats. Deni Adam reported that Heri was reported to Polda Metro Jaya.

After undergoing examination as a reporting witness at Polda Metro Jaya, Deni confirmed that he wanted to continue the legal process against Jerinx.

According to Deni, he had already opened the door to mediation for Jerinx before taking legal action. However, the mediation offered by Deni did not go smoothly.

"I have opened the first mediation with the reason that his wife begged me for her health and safety, but the mediation was rejected and instead I was challenged to a legal match," Deni said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 14.

While undergoing the examination, Deni received 11 questions from the investigators of the Polda Metro Jaya related to the alleged threat of threats.

Deni also brought evidence in the form of recordings of threats via telephone and several screenshots of conversations on social media.

The social media activist emphasized that he was ready to be confronted with the Balinese musician in the next process.

"We wait here and I am ready to attend with him if the police find us both," said Deni.

This threatening act began when Deni posted a comment through his social media account about Jerinx's statement regarding the artist sponsored by COVID-19.

Deni's comments also sparked Jerinx's attention, thus triggering a dispute.

After a while, Jerinx's Instagram account disappeared and accused Deni of being the person responsible for the disappearance of the Instagram account.

Jerinx also had time to contact Deni, even threatening to commit violence. Due to this threat, Deni had intended to open the door to mediation for Jerinx.

However, these efforts did not go smoothly and Deni was determined to report Jerinx to the Polda Metro Jaya.

Jerinx was officially reported on July 10, 2021. Deni uploaded the report information in his Instagram account "@adngrk".

In the reporting statement, Jerinx was reported under Article 335 of the Criminal Code and or Article 29 Junto Article 45 letter b of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 2008 concerning the ITE Law.
