Many Were Told To Turn Back, The Volume Of Vehicles In Jakarta During Emergency PPKM Decreased By 61.76 Percent

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that there had been a significant decrease in traffic volume during the implementation of Emergency PPKM in Jakarta since July 3.

"When compared to the Micro PPKM period, the volume of motorized vehicle traffic decreased by 61.76 percent," Syafrin told reporters, Tuesday, July 13.

The decrease in traffic volume during the Emergency PPKM coincided with the large number of vehicles that were turned around when passing through the roadblocks guarded by the joint apparatus at a number of points.

The number of vehicles that were turned around during the implementation of restrictions and control of community mobility during Emergency PPKM was 318,779 vehicles, with details of 87,349 cars and 231,430 motorcycles.

Not only private vehicles, the number of passengers on public transportation has also decreased. The number of daily passengers for urban public transport in Emergency PPKM decreased by 46.66 percent, from 965,779 passengers per day during Micro PPKM to 515,137 passengers per day.

"The number of daily passengers for AKAP transportation in Emergency PPKM also decreased by 59.12 percent or to 2,195 passengers per day, compared to 5,369 passengers per day for Micro PPKM," he said.

- Jalan Klik Gading Serpong, South Tangerang

- Jalan M. YAsin Depok

- Jalan M. Yasin in front of MCD Depok

- South Boulevard Street Bekasi City

- Jalan Sumarecon Bekasi City

- Cifes Cikarang Selatan Bekasi Regency

Then, 14 locations that are included in the mobility control area include:
