Dwi Sasono Smokes Marijuana Without The Knowledge Of Widi Mulia's Wife

JAKARTA - Actor Dwi Sasono was arrested by the police regarding possession of a 16 gram type of narcotic cannabis. Dwi is currently still undergoing an intensive examination at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that Dwi had consumed marijuana without his wife Widi Mulia knowing secretly. Even the police have confirmed that Widi does not consume these prohibited items.

"Until now he is alone. His wife also admits that she does not know. He (DS) is secretive. And his wife does not know that there is evidence," said Yusri in an official broadcast, Monday, June 1.

According to Yusri, Dwi got the forbidden items from someone with the initials C. However, his party could not reveal C's whereabouts, because he was still being chased by the police.

"We are still pursuing, initial C, who often circulates marijuana-type drugs," said Yusri.

During an on-site examination, Dwi admitted that he actually got the cannabis-type drug from a dealer with the initials C who fled. So, the police immediately took him for further investigation.

To investigators, Dwi admitted that he had only consumed marijuana for the past month. In fact, based on his confession, Dwi Sasono took drugs to fill his spare time and for several other reasons.

"The motive he conveyed to investigators, first to fill the time gap, there is one problem for this suspect, he is indeed having trouble sleeping with the activities during this COVID-19 he is at home," said Yusri.

As a result of his actions, Dwi Sasono was charged with Article 114 paragraph 1 subsidiary to Article 111 of the narcotics law with the minimum penalty of 5 years in prison.
