Stolen Motorcycle, ASN In Asahan Sumut Arrested By Police, Shot In Feet For Fighting

MEDAN - An ASN in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra, Akhyar (38) was arrested by the police. Akhyar is involved in a motorcycle theft case.

When arrested, Akhyar resisted until both of his legs were shot by the police. Kasatreskrim Polres Asahan, AKP Rahmadani said the theft occurred on Monday, July 5 afternoon. The suspect stole a motorbike with his friend, Dogol, on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kota Kisaran Timur District.

The police then hunted down the two perpetrators that night.

"According to information, Jatanras made arrests for the two perpetrators, but the perpetrator, known as Akhyar, tried to resist the officers and had to take firm and measured action," said AKP Rahmadani, Tuesday, July 6.

In the disclosure, the police secured Ahyar. Meanwhile, his friend Dogol managed to escape using his motorbike.

Until now, said Rahmadani the police are still pursuing Dogol.

"Meanwhile, Ahyar and the evidence were taken to the Asahan Police for investigation," said AKP Rahmadani.
