JAKARTA - Ukraine's Health Ministry is investigating the cause of death of a 47-year-old man four hours after being injected with Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine, the ministry said.
The ministry said there was likely no link between the two factors and that the other five people who received similar injections were in normal condition.
According to the Ministry of Health, according to the Ukrainian law and international standards of pharmacovigilance for side effects after immunization, any death that occurs within 30 days of post-immunization should be investigated.
Pfizer's off-hours Ukraine branch has yet to comment on the incident.
