KMP Yunicee Sunk In Gilimanuk, Governor Koster: 6 People Died, 53 Survived

JEMBRANA - Bali Governor Wayan Koster visited Gilimanuk Harbor, Jembrana, Bali regarding the KMP Yunicee sinking incident. Koster said 6 people died, 53 others survived this disaster.

“Which provisional data has been found for a total of 59 (people), 6 (people) died, (and) 53 are safe. Of those 9 (people) entered Gilimanuk, 6 died and 3 survived. The other (victims) to Ketapang are all safe," said Koster, Tuesday, June 29 night.

Governor Koster explained, the search process is still ongoing. The search was carried out by the Basarnas team together with the Navy and the police.

"I've also spoken so that the search will continue until we find passengers who may not have been found. So, there is the certainty of how many passengers there are," he added.

According to him, 5 people who died have been identified. One other person is still being identified.

"The six of them have been taken to Jembrana Hospital. (The victim) whose identity has not been found can be found out in the near future," said Koster.
