After The Deputy Chairperson Of The KPK, Ghufron, Now Spokesman For Ali Fikri Is Positive For COVID-19

JAKARTA - Acting Spokesman for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Ali Fikri has tested positive for COVID-19. This certainty was obtained from the results of a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based swab test.

"From the results of the PCR swab, I am also positive," Ali told reporters, Tuesday, June 29.

He said he is currently in a stable condition and is self-isolating at home.

"Thank God I am still stable, the symptoms of coughing and cold are mild. Currently, I am isoman at home," he said.

He then advised all parties without exception to maintain health and health protocols in the midst of increasing cases of COVID-19.

"Keep maintaining strict procedures and health," he said.

Previously, KPK Deputy Chair Nurul Ghufron was confirmed positive for COVID-19. He is currently self-isolating at home.

"Yes, my PCR test results are positive for COVID-19. Please pray for a speedy recovery," said Ghufron to reporters, Monday, June 28.

According to the doctor who examined him, he was in a moderate to mild condition. So, Ghufron was asked to self-isolate at home.

He said he is currently in a stable condition although he had shortness of breath and fever.

"Alhamdulillah, it is stable, only shortness of breath and fever. Please pray for it," he said.

For information, as many as 36 KPK employees at the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution have contracted COVID-19.

As a result, activities in the deputy were limited to two days from June 23 to June 25. Although limited, activities that have been previously scheduled will still be carried out in accordance with strict health protocols.

In addition, the KPK has also limited the work portion of its employees in the office. The physical presence system in the office uses the proportion of 25 percent and 75 percent working from home or BDR.
