Bobby Nasution Gaspol Vaccination For COVID In Medan, Opens 4 Free Vaccine Points For The Community

MEDAN - Mayor of Medan, North Sumatra Province, Bobby Nasution, gaspol about vaccination. Bobby is optimistic that the COVID-19 vaccination target for all residents of the city can be achieved soon.

"Every day the vaccination in Medan City continues. Our vaccination target is almost cash," Bobby explained after reviewing the mass vaccination program at Belawan Port, Saturday, June 26, as reported by Antara.

In order to speed up the COVID-19 vaccination, Bobby said that the Medan City Government (Pemkot) had provided four vaccination points that were continuously open and free for the public.

"Today, 10,000 Medan residents have been vaccinated," he said.

In addition to promoting the mass vaccination program, the Medan City Government has also tightened the implementation of restrictions on community activities or micro PPKM aimed at suppressing the spread of COVID-19.

The micro PPKM arrangement in Medan City has been regulated in accordance with the Medan Mayor's Circular Number: 440/5352 which is valid from 23 June 2021 to 5 July 2021.

Meanwhile, North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Panca Putra, who was also present at the event, hoped that the central government would provide 60,000 vaccines for North Sumatra.

"Given the high public interest in receiving vaccines in Medan and North Sumatra," he said.

In North Sumatra, there are around 450 teams tasked with being vaccinators in collaboration with the TNI, Polri and local governments to accelerate vaccination.
