JAKARTA - A series of investigations and investigations are carried out in an effort to uncover the case of the 279 million burglary of population data related to BPJS. Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said the perpetrators of the burglary began to be mapped after investigators searched for cryptocurrencies.

"For the time being, investigators have found the profile of the perpetrator in the Raid Forum," said Rusdi to reporters, Tuesday, June 15.

Currently, even that cryptocurrency is still being explored. The goal is to ensure that the owner is the perpetrator of the 279 million population data breach.

"The investigator's profile has read it. The investigators just need to investigate. In the future there will be developments. Of course, it has led to a profile of the perpetrator," said Rusdi.

Although it has been mapped, Rusdi has not been able to confirm the whereabouts of the perpetrators. However, there are many suspicions that the perpetrators are abroad.

For now, the investigative team will continue to develop all existing findings. Thus, the case is fully resolved.

"It will be confirmed (the whereabouts of the perpetrators)," he said.

In an effort to disclose, Rusdi said investigators had dug up information from dozens of witnesses. From this information, investigators will be able to draw a common thread on the case.

Dozens of witnesses, from the BPJS to vendors. In addition, there were also witnesses from the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) who served as experts.

"Investigators have examined approximately 15 witnesses from BPJS, Vendors, and BSSN," he said.

Apart from mapping the perpetrators, continued Rusdi, investigators are currently preparing a request for a BPJS server confiscation. The confiscation was carried out to explore various important information in the investigation process.

"Then we have made an application for a special permit for the seizure of the BPJS Health server," said Rusdi.

Later, the letter of request for confiscation was submitted to the Surabaya District Court. Because the server location is in Surabaya, East Java.

If the Surabaya District Court has given permission, the investigator will immediately confiscate it for the purposes of the investigation process.

"The BPJS server is in Surabaya, so the investigators made an application for a special permit to confiscate the server to the Surabaya district court," said Rusdi.
