The formation of the August 17th Paskibraka is still a secret, BPIP promises a surprise

BPIP is still keeping the formation that will be displayed by the national Paskibraka during the 81st Independence Day ceremony on August 17. The flag-raising formation is said to bring a surprise.

Deputy Head of BPIP Rima Agristina is not willing to open the prepared arrangement.

"Later there will be a surprise, of course, every year there is a surprise formation when the flag is raised. Just wait for the main date on August 17," said Rima at the State Palace, Jakarta, Saturday, August 15.

Even though the formation is kept secret, the pattern and speed of Paskibraka's steps have not changed.

"If the pattern of speed is the same according to the Commander's Regulation, then it is in accordance with previous years," he said.

A total of 76 members of Paskibraka representing 38 provinces have been confirmed by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Rima said all members were in good health since they had attended the education and training concentration to the confirmation process.

To determine officers in each position, BPIP does not only assess the ability to line up. Focus, emotional stability, calmness and leadership are also considered.

Members are tested in turns during training before determining who will be the leader, tray carrier, flag bearer, presenter, and group leader.
