Puan Maharani Wears Olive Brocade Kebaya at MPR Annual Session

JAKARTA - Speaker of the House of Representatives Puan Maharani chose an olive brocade kebaya when attending the 2026 MPR Annual Session and Joint Session of the DPR-DPD at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 14.

The kebaya worn by Puan is inspired by the Sundanese kebaya. The dress is equipped with ribbon application details, then combined with a dark green scarf and fabric with a similar nuance.

Puan was present with a number of state agency leaders in the annual agenda which was also attended by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Before the trial began, Puan took a photo with Prabowo, Gibran, MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani, as well as the leaders of the DPR, MPR, and DPD in the Nusantara Building lobby.

A number of former presidents and vice presidents were also present. Among them were the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, the 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla, Vice President 11 Boediono, and Vice President 13 Ma'ruf Amin.

The trial was also attended by ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, heads of state institutions, state guests, and political party leaders.

In the agenda, Prabowo delivered a state of the nation address and a report on the performance of state institutions ahead of the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

After the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR-DPD, the DPR is scheduled to hold a Plenary Meeting to Open the First Session of the 2026-2027 Session on 14.30 WIB. Puan is scheduled to lead the meeting.

Prabowo will also deliver a speech on the financial statement and the Draft State Budget or RAPBN 2027. Puan will give the opening speech for the DPR session.

"Of course we hope that in the presentation of the 2027 budget, we will hear how the government presents its priority programs which will certainly be beneficial for the nation and state," said Puan, Wednesday, August 12.
