Sutrimo Exhumation Former Karumga Febrie Adriansyah Held Today

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya ensures that the exhumation or demolition of the tomb of Sutrimo in Banyumas, Central Java, runs according to schedule.

Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, explained that the exhumation was carried out at around 10.00 WIB.

"This forensic examination activity is carried out with the full support and technical cooperation of the Central Java Police and Banyumas Police," said Budi as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 12.

He explained that the exhumation was led by the Chairman of the Indonesian Forensic-Medicolegal Doctors Association (PDFMI) Brigjen Pol. (P) Dr. dr. Sumy Hastry Purwanti and Professor and Specialist Doctor of Forensic and Medicolegal Medicine Prof. DR. dr. Ahmad Yudianto.

"The stages of the examination include the process of exhumation or disinterment of the grave, followed by an external examination, and an internal examination of the body," said Budi.

As is known, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya has increased the status of handling the case of the death of a citizen with the initials S alias Sutrimo from the investigation stage to the investigation, and scheduled the exhumation action on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Director of Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol. Iman Imanuddin said that the handling of the case was carried out based on a combination of two police reports, namely a report from the public at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police and a report from the victim's family at the Banyumas Police, Central Java, which has now been transferred to the Polda Metro Jaya.

Meanwhile, the Central Java Police stated that they were ready to assist in the exhumation of the body of the head of the household of the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, who was suspected of dying in an unnatural manner in Banyumas.

Head of Public Relations of Central Java Police, Kombes Pol Yuliyanto, said the assistance included preparation, implementation, and activities after exhumation.

"Central Java Police of course are ready to help the Metro Jaya Police for the exhumation, starting from preparation, then implementation, and then after the exhumation," said Yuliyanto in Semarang, Monday (10/8).
