It Turns Out There Are 19 Female Prison Inmates In Kerobokan Who Drink Disinfectant, They Are So Crowded That Their Vision Is Blurry

DENPASAR - Head of the Emergency Installation (IGD) Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar, Bali, Dr. I Made Mulyawan said there were 19 Correctional Inmates (WBP) in the Class IIA Women's Correctional Institution (Lapas), Denpasar, who were taken to the Sanglah Hospital IGD. The inmates/prisoners drink disinfectant liquid.

"To date, as of today, 19 patients have been admitted to the emergency department at Sanglah Hospital," said Mulyawan, Friday, June 11.

He explained that the average prisoner/detainee who drank disinfectant was 21-30 years old. Patient complaints vary.

"Starting from headaches, dizziness, nausea, and shortness of breath, then blurred vision," he added.

The rescue action was carried out by the hospital by stabilizing.

"We provide first aid, to treat patients whose life or life is threatened, to stabilize then until we do dialysis," explained Mulyawan.

One patient died. The rest are still being observed.

"There was one who died, that was yesterday. The first time there were four people who came, one died two and another one we are still caring for in the ER. His condition is still stable and it is necessary to observe and investigate what exactly caused it," said Mulyawan.
