JAKARTA - The National Selection Committee (Panselnas) officially revoked the penalty provision of Rp. 100 million for participants in the selection of Red and White Village/Village Cooperative employees and Red and White Fishing Village employees through Announcement Number 09 of 2026.

"Policy adjustments are carried out as part of ongoing efforts to improve the selection process," said a written statement from the Panselnas in the official release of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom), Thursday, June 18.

This step was taken so that the selection process would continue to be open, accountable, and provide the widest possible opportunity for the best sons and daughters of the nation to contribute to the government's priority programs.

The Panselnas assessed that the removal of the penalty provision would provide a better space for participants to follow all stages of the program without being burdened by concerns related to financial sanctions.

"Thus, each participant can follow all stages of training and human resource development more freely and focus fully on developing their own capacity," wrote the official announcement of the Panselnas.

Even though the penalty provision has been lifted, the Panselnas still reminds participants of the importance of commitment and responsibility to show sincerity and dedication in following each stage of the program.

Along with this policy change, the Panselnas also provides an opportunity for participants who have previously submitted their resignations due to objections to the penalty provisions to rejoin the selection process.

Participants who have resigned can re-submit confirmation of their willingness to participate in the stages of training and human resource development through the official Panselnas portal.

The confirmation period is open from June 17 to 23, 2026 at 10.00 WIB to ensure that the human resources needs for the KDKMP and KNMP programs are optimally met in support of the success of government development priority programs.
