JAKARTA - The Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, said the security of the city of Kazan, Russia, was tightened, especially the location of the accommodation for guests and along the route of the Russian-ASEAN Summit delegation.

"A total of 189 delegate routes will be arranged in this city. All routes have been tested," said Metshin.

The summit, held to commemorate 35 years of relations between Russia and ASEAN, took place in Kazan on June 17-19.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event.
