TABANAN - President Prabowo Subianto asked ministries and agencies to find unused state facilities to help expand the capacity of People's Schools.
The instruction was given while reviewing the SRMP 17 Tabanan, Bali, Sunday (7/6), after receiving a report that the number of applicants had exceeded the available capacity.
Prabowo asked the Cabinet Secretary to coordinate with ministries and agencies to utilize buildings or facilities that have not been optimally used.
"Find their existing facilities, maybe those that are underutilized. It can be borrowed until the permanent school," said Prabowo.
According to the President, the government should not wait for the completion of the new building if the community's educational needs are urgent.
Prabowo also asked all parties to find creative solutions so that more children from poor families can be accepted at People's Schools.
"Everything that is asked must be accepted. How do we try," he said.
