JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto officially dismissed Dadan Hindayana from his position as Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) after evaluating the implementation of government priority programs, including the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program.

He explained that there were a number of notes that the President considered in evaluating the performance of BGN over the past one and a half years. One of them is related to the discipline of implementing standard operating procedures (SOP), organizational governance, to the supervision of food quality in the Free Nutritious Meal Program.
"There are problems related to discipline in implementing SOPs, there are problems related to discipline in implementing governance, including discipline in maintaining the quality of food that should have been determined by the National Nutrition Agency," said Prasetyo.
According to the government, the quality of food and governance aspects are important concerns because the Free Nutritious Meal Program is one of the flagship programs that target millions of beneficiaries in various regions.

As a replacement for Dadan Hindayana, the President appointed Nanik Sudaryati Deyang as the new Head of the National Nutrition Agency. Meanwhile, the position of Deputy Head of BGN is filled by Agustina Arumsari and Major General TNI Trenggono.
