KAI Jakarta Daop 1 Public Relations Manager Franoto Wibowo said the number of passenger arrivals today was the highest during the long Iduladha and Pancasila Birthday holiday period.
"The peak of the return flow occurred today with the number of arrivals reaching 41,534 customers. Meanwhile, the number of departures was recorded as many as 32,745 customers," said Franoto as quoted by Antara.
Gambir Station became the most crowded arrival point with 15,028 passengers, followed by Pasar Senen Station with 14,066 passengers. Meanwhile, Bekasi Station received 4,946 passengers, Jatinegara Station 4,675 passengers, Cikarang Station 1,404 passengers, Cikampek Station 803 passengers, and Karawang Station 612 passengers.
