JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) adjusts the operating hours of services on Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, Wednesday, May 27, 2026. All Transjakarta services will only start operating at 09.00 WIB.
Adjustments are made to all services, ranging from BRT corridors, Non-BRT to Microtrans. Normally, the regular Transjakarta service starts operating at 05.00 WIB.
This policy is implemented to give officers the opportunity to carry out the Eid al-Adha prayer, while ensuring that public transportation services continue for the community after the completion of the worship.
Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transportasi Jakarta Ayu Wardhani said that operational adjustments were made by considering the needs of customers and officers in the field.
"Transjakarta continues to strive to provide public transportation services that are adaptive to community needs. The operational adjustments on Eid al-Adha are carried out so that the service continues to run well while providing an opportunity for officers to carry out their worship," said Ayu in a statement, Tuesday, May 26.
Even though the operating hours have been reduced, Transjakarta ensures that services will continue to operate normally after 09.00 WIB across all service networks.
Adjustment of operating hours during religious holidays is a pattern that Transjakarta routinely carries out, especially during the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha moments. This step is taken to adjust the mobility of the community which tends to decrease in the morning due to the implementation of the Id prayer.
Transjakarta also appeals to customers to reschedule their travel time during the service adjustment so that activities can run smoothly.
Information related to services and operational changes can be accessed through the TJ: Transjakarta application, Transjakarta's official social media, and customer service 1500-102.
