JAKARTA - PT KAI announced the change of the name of the Argo Bromo Anggrek train to Anggrek. The change was made some time after the fatal collision with the KRL in East Bekasi.

Meanwhile, regarding the fatal collision in East Bekasi, PT KAI stated that 84 victims of the train collision incident in East Bekasi had returned home, while 17 others were still undergoing intensive care at the hospital.

KAI Vice President of Corporate Communication Anne Purba said that her party continued to provide assistance to all customers and families affected by the incident at Bekasi Timur Station until the handling phase was completed.

"As of Monday (4/5), 84 customers have returned home, while 17 customers are still undergoing treatment at a number of hospitals," Anne said in a statement in Jakarta, Monday.

KAI ensures that the monitoring of customer conditions is carried out periodically so that all handling needs can be met.

Anne said that assistance was provided comprehensively, both for customers who were still being treated and those who had returned home.

"We continue to monitor the condition of customers who are still being treated and ensure that the needs of handling are met. For customers who have returned home, we will continue to provide assistance as needed," he said.

After the documents are declared complete, the claim process will be coordinated with the insurance company with an estimated completion of no later than 21 working days.
