Satgas Armuzna Reviews the Readiness of Layana Wukuf in Arafah

JAKARTA - The Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina Task Force (Armuzna) reviewed the readiness of facilities and infrastructure in Arafah to ensure the safety and comfort of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims during the implementation of wukuf in the 2026 Hajj season.

Head of the Armuzna Surnadi Operations Unit (Satops) in Mecca, Monday, said the check was focused on determining the position of the headquarters, movement routes, and evacuation systems in 10 ad hoc sectors that would accommodate pilgrims.

"Our focus today is to ensure the position of the headquarters, the murur route, and the evacuation system. Don't let anything be missed, so that pilgrims can occupy tents and carry out wukuf safely, comfortably, and devoutly," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 4.

Based on the field review, the task force noted a number of important evaluations to be immediately coordinated with the sharikah or service provider company in Saudi Arabia, one of which is related to the review of the headquarters position.

In addition, the team ensured the readiness of officers and the taradudi bus line (shuttle) that will be used for the movement of pilgrims on 9 Dzulhijjah.

To optimize services, the Arafah Task Force will deploy the full strength of personnel, which is 586 officers.

Hundreds of officers will begin occupying their respective posts on 7 Dzulhijjah, at 15.30 Saudi Arabian Time (WAS).

Later, each ad hoc sector will be responsible comprehensively in serving the needs of accommodation, consumption, transportation, to the health of pilgrims.

The initial review is part of the planning and preparation stage of the Armuzna Task Force.

Furthermore, the task force is scheduled to carry out socialization to all sectors in the Makkah region, followed by a troop title appeal and final coordination meeting before the peak of the hajj.
