JAKARTA - Russian defense technology company Rosel Holding Russia (part of state technology company Rostec) has developed a new interference module for mobile electronic warfare (EW) systems, the state company's press service reported.

"Rosel Holding has developed a randomizing module for a mobile electronic warfare system. This product generates interference in a certain frequency range and allows the suppression of control, telemetry and video transmission channels from various drones. This undermines the stability of the radio link and complicates the control of the drone," the statement reads, as reported by TASS (25/4)

The press service further explained that this system has separate functional units and can be installed on various platforms, ranging from mobile EW stations on vehicle chassis to stationary facility protection systems.

"This module flexibly expands the capabilities of mobile electronic warfare systems and creates a reliable electronic defense zone. This module suppresses radio control channels and data transmission from unmanned systems and can be used to protect equipment and infrastructure," the statement said.

"Its modular architecture allows for rapid integration into existing systems and the ability to increase its capabilities without extensive upgrades," he said.
