Bireuen District Attorney Searches the Offices of the Satpol PP and WH in Connection with Alleged Budget Corruption

BANDA ACEH - The team of prosecutors investigating the special criminal case of the Bireuen District Attorney's Office, Aceh, searched the Office of the Police Unit and Wilayatul Hisbah (Satpol PP and WH) in Bireuen Regency.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bireuen District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Wendy Yuhfrizal said the search was to find evidence and evidence related to the alleged corruption in the implementation of the 2022 to 2024 annual budget.

"The search at the Satpol PP and WH Office of Bireuen Regency was led by the Head of the Special Criminal Section of the Bireuen District Court, M Riko Ari Pratama," he said, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 28.

Apart from the Satpol PP and WH Office, he said, the prosecutor's team also searched the house of the witness with the initials NES in Bandar Bireuen Village, Juang City District, Bireuen Regency, as well as the house of the witness with the initials C in Pulo Ara Village, Juang City District, Bireuen Regency.

Wendy Yuhfrizal said the search was based on the decision of the Bireuen District Court dated April 27, 2026. The search was related to the alleged crime of corruption in the implementation and accountability of the Budget Implementation Document (DPA) at the Satpol PP and WH

"The search at the Satpol PP and WH Office of Bireuen Regency and the house of the NES witness lasted more than two hours. Meanwhile, the search at the house of the C witness lasted more than an hour," said Wendy Yuhfrizal.

From the search in the three locations, the team of special crime investigators of the Bireuen District Attorney's Office found and brought several documents that are related to the alleged corruption in the implementation of the budget at the Bireuen District Satpol PP and WH.

"The special crime investigation team will immediately examine the documents from the search results. The investigation of this alleged corruption case in the implementation of the budget is already in the investigation stage," said Wendy Yuhfrizal.
