The Ministry of Defense ensures that 1,773 ASN are ready to undergo Komcad training

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) has ensured that as many as 1,773 state civil servants (ASN) are ready to attend education as candidates for reserve components (komcad) at six TNI education centers.

This was conveyed by the Head of the National Reserve Agency of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General TNI Gabriel Lema, when opening the ASN komcad training in a ceremony at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, East Jakarta, Wednesday.

"We officially inaugurate the opening of training for 1,773 prospective ASN komcad. This is only the first wave," said Gabriel at a press conference reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 22.

Gabriel said that the ASN had undergone various selections ranging from health tests and tests in the field of ideology before participating in the komcad training.

After undergoing a series of tests, the ASN will undergo basic military training (latsarmil) at six TNI facilities, including Pusdikkes, Skadik 301, AU Language Center, Kodam Jaya, and Pasmari 1 Marine Cilandak.

They will follow training for one and a half months. Then they will be inaugurated in June 2026.

During the komcad training, ASN will receive various basic military materials ranging from shooting to materials related to strengthening the spirit of nationalism.

Gabriel hopes that with this training, ASN can have the same spirit of nationalism in carrying out state employee duties.

Thus, he believes that ASN will provide the best performance in carrying out state duties.
