The TNBTS Headquarters stated that the closure of the Bromo Mountain area was a reinforcement of the commitment to more sustainable management of the area after the long Lebaran 2026 holiday.
During the Lebaran holiday, namely on March 21-24, 2026, Mount Bromo has been visited by 24,671 tourists.
Cumulatively in March 2026, tourism destinations that stretch from the Probolinggo Regency, Pasuruan, Lumajang, and Malang Regency are in line for 79,223 tourists.
