Makassar Walkot Danny Pomanto Activates 1,071 COVID Hunter Task Force Personnel

MAKASSAR - Mayor of Makassar Moh Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) activated 1,071 personnel who are members of the COVID Hunter Task Force in 153 urban villages and 15 sub-districts.

"For the number of officers in 153 kelurahan, each kelurahan has seven people, the total number I forget to remember, please count, (1,071 people)," Danny Pomanto told reporters after the launch of COVID Hunter at the Karebosi field in Makassar, South Sulawesi, quoted Between, Friday, June 4th.

As for the operational vehicles that support the COVID Hunter Task Force team, he said, each of the 15 sub-districts will be placed in each sub-district plus two control vehicles.

"There are 15 cars in each sub-district plus two control cars, so a total of 17 units," said Danny Pomanto.

For facilities in the vehicle, Danny Pomanto said that the vehicle is equipped with a rapid antigen device, supplements and drugs intended for suspects and close contacts.

"It will be given to the suspect and to people who are in close contact with the suspect. We will give it for supplements. After confirmation, (after testing) we will then give the name," continued Danny Pomanto.

He explained that the launch of COVID Hunter was the third effort, after the Detector Task Force and the Raika (Crowd Decomposer) Task Force. These three Task Forces are included in the Makassar Recover program, namely health protocol orders for tracing, testing and treatment with the application of 5 M.

For the implementation of 5M, Danny Pomanto explained, the task of the Raika Task Force. Furthermore, the status of inspection to the public is the Detector Task Force. Meanwhile, the task of COVID Hunter is to carry out tracing, testing and treatment.

"The job is, if there is a suspect, especially if it is confirmed, then the person concerned will be examined, including the place where the infection is suspected, the first is at his residence, the second is the place of work, and the third is the gathering place," said Danny Pomanto.
