JAKARTA - Bank Jakarta again took part in the 2026 Lebaran free homecoming program organized by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Transportation Service.

In this year's program, Bank Jakarta provided 20 units of buses that were dispatched together with a total of 744 free homecoming fleets released by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung.

Bank Jakarta President Director Agus H Widodo said the support was part of a synergy with the DKI Provincial Government in providing homecoming transportation for the community.

"As a BUMD of DKI Jakarta, Bank Jakarta's support in the 2026 Free Eid Homecoming program is a form of sustainable synergy with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to provide convenience for residents, especially in supporting people who want to go home," said Agus at the Monas area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, March 17.

The free homecoming program is an annual agenda held to help residents return to their hometowns at no cost. This year, the number of fleets prepared increased from the initial plan of 667 buses to 744 buses.

The increase in the number of this fleet is in line with the surge in the number of participants returning home. It is recorded that around 33 thousand residents participated in the program, increasing from the initial estimate of 26 thousand people.

The bus provided by Bank Jakarta serves a number of destination cities on the islands of Java and Sumatra, including Semarang, Solo, Lampung, Sidoarjo, Kediri, Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, and Wonogiri.

The number of fleet contributions from Bank Jakarta also increased compared to the previous year. In addition to Bank Jakarta, a number of other BUMD also supported this program, such as PT Transportasi Jakarta, PT MRT Jakarta, PT LRT Jakarta, PAM Jaya, and PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol.

In addition to providing fleets, Bank Jakarta also opened a Mudik Post at the KM 429 Semarang rest area on March 14-20, 2026. This post is prepared as a resting place for travelers who cross the route.

At the location, travelers can take advantage of facilities such as resting areas, massage chairs, free wifi, to charging mobile phones. Bank Indonesia also offers a number of transaction promos, including cashback through QRIS on the JakOne Mobile application.

Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that involvement in this program is a form of appreciation for the community.

"With the provision of support for the 2026 Lebaran Free Homecoming Program, Bank Jakarta is expected to be able to get closer to the community," said Arie.
