BADUNG - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Badung Police, Bali has uncovered three foreigners suspected of being involved in making obscene content at a villa in Pererenan Area, Mengwi District, Badung.
Kapolres Badung AKBP Joseph Edward Purba said the three foreigners who were arrested were an adult creator woman with the initials MMJL (23) from France and two men NBS (24) from Italy and ERB (26) from France.
They were arrested by the Badung Police Criminal Investigation Unit together with the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, on Saturday (14/3).
The Badung Police Chief said MMJL and NBS were arrested at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport after investigators coordinated with the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office regarding the whereabouts of the perpetrators who were about to flee to Thailand.
"The two perpetrators were about to leave Bali and were successfully arrested. Meanwhile, the ERB perpetrator was arrested at one of the villas in Canggu, North Kuta, Monday (16/3)," he said.
Edward explained that the disclosure of this case began with the investigation of the Badung Police Criminal Investigation Unit into the pornographic video that was widely circulated on social media.
The police then carried out profiling of the video footage on Friday, March 13, 2026 at around 18.30 to trace the origin of the content production.
From the results of the search, the police found indications that the video was recorded in the Badung area. Investigators then examined an online motorcycle taxi driver who had made content with the perpetrator of MMJL.
From the witness's statement, investigators managed to identify the identities of the suspected perpetrators and also found out the location of the video making in a villa in Pererenan area, Mengwi, Badung on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at around 14.40 Wita.
According to the police chief, MMJL first met NBS at an entertainment venue in the North Kuta area, Badung. MMJL then offered NBS to plan to make the obscene video content.
"So the video was spread by the third perpetrator ERB who is the manager of MMJL on the Only Fans and X platforms," said the Police Chief.
From the confession of the three of them, the motive for making the video using an ojol jacket was to make it viral quickly on social media and platforms used to spread the video.
They got the ojol jacket by buying it at a store for Rp300,000.
From the arrest of the suspect, officers secured a number of evidence in the form of three iPhone mobile phones, one DJI Osmo camera, one MacBook Air, and one online motorcycle jacket used in content creation.
The perpetrators are charged with Article 407 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code with a minimum sentence of 6 months and a maximum of 10 years. In addition, the perpetrators are also subject to Article 45 paragraph (1) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning ITE with a maximum sentence of 6 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Head of the Immigration Inspection (Kabid TPI) for Ngurah Rai, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali Gde Oki Rizky Aryadhika Heris said MMJL and NBS were secured starting from the entry of data in Immigration related to the two perpetrators involved in the alleged creation of obscene content that went viral on social media.
He revealed that on March 11, based on information from the public regarding viral content, the person concerned was immediately included by the immigration as a subject of interest.
Furthermore, when the person concerned plans to depart on March 13 to Thailand, his party will carry out security at the airport.
"The temporary deepening, MMJL entered Indonesia on February 21 using a visa on arrival (VoA) which is intended for tourist purposes," he concluded.
This case of alleged indecent content also dragged a ojol driver with the initials MR (35), from Medan, North Sumatra.
When met separately, MR revealed that he first met one of the perpetrators, MMJL, on the side of the road, in the Batu Bolong area around February.
From that meeting, the two of us had me invite them to make content together with light content, such as casual chatting.
"We met twice and made content twice. One of them was done at the villa (the crime scene), but it was just a normal conversation," he said.
However, recently, after a lewd video went viral on social media and it was known that one of the perpetrators was MMJL, MR was also dragged because he had been involved in making ordinary content with the perpetrator MMJL.
He revealed that the public thought MR was the person wearing the ojol jacket in the video with MMJL. The accusation was later proven not to be true after the police arrested the actual perpetrators.
"Currently it has been proven that the person in the video is not me," he concluded.
