Prabowo invites people to strengthen unity in the midst of global uncertainty

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto invites all Indonesian people to strengthen unity and harmony amid increasing global uncertainty. The appeal was delivered while giving a mandate at the Nuzululqur'an commemoration event at the State Palace, Tuesday, March 10.

In his remarks, Prabowo assessed that the current world situation faces various threats because a number of world leaders have not been fully able to maintain international stability and peace.

According to him, the global situation full of uncertainty requires Indonesia to further strengthen national unity. In addition, Indonesia also needs to continue to encourage inter-ethnic harmony to face increasingly complex global challenges.

"We as the Indonesian nation, together with many other nations, need to rally unity and harmony to face this uncertain state," said Prabowo.

He also emphasized Indonesia's commitment to continue to play a role in maintaining world peace by respecting the sovereignty of each country. Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia would not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.

"We do not want to interfere in the internal affairs of any country. We respect all the forces in the world, both big and small. This is the path that our founding fathers have shown," he said.

Furthermore, Prabowo assessed that maintaining world peace is not enough with prayers and hopes. According to him, this effort must be accompanied by real work to improve people's welfare.

He said that various problems such as poverty, hunger, and suffering must be seriously addressed so that stability and peace can be realized.

Prabowo also emphasized his commitment as the head of state to protect all Indonesian people regardless of their ethnic, racial, or religious backgrounds.

"All Indonesian people, whatever their tribe, whatever their race, whatever their religion, must be protected, must be guarded, must be taken care of, must be cared for, and must be nurtured," said Prabowo.
