Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Office Syafrin Liputo said the number of participants who passed the verification actually increased compared to the initial registration data.
"From 26,282 applicants, it increased to 30,774 travelers as a result of verification, so there is a shortage of buses," said Syafrin at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, March 10.
According to Syafrin, this condition makes the DKI Provincial Government unable to increase the quota for free homecoming participants. The government will only send off travelers who have been included in the list of results of verification.
