Monday Night Meeting in Hambalang, Prabowo Discusses Food and LPG Stocks Ahead of Lebar

BOGOR - President Prabowo Subianto again led a limited meeting at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, Monday, March 9 evening. The meeting discussed the development of the food self-sufficiency program and the government's readiness ahead of the Lebaran holiday, including related to the availability of LPG stocks.

This meeting is a continuation of a similar meeting that was previously held by Prabowo in Hambalang on Sunday, March 8, with a number of ministers to discuss the government's strategic agenda.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, who also attended the meeting, explained that the meeting in Hambalang was attended by a number of ministers of the Red and White Cabinet and other state officials.

According to Teddy, the strategic meeting focused on two main agendas of the government, namely evaluating the development of the self-sufficiency program for food, energy, and oil, and ensuring the government's readiness to face Eid al-Fitr, especially regarding the availability of food and LPG supplies.

"This strategic meeting is focused on two main agendas of the government, namely the progress of self-sufficiency, evaluating the development of the food self-sufficiency program and energy and oil self-sufficiency, as well as the readiness for Eid al-Fitr to ensure the availability of food and LPG supplies ahead of Eid al-Fitr," said Teddy, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, March 10.

He added that the meeting was also a forum for government coordination to discuss national priority agendas while ensuring readiness to face the Lebaran momentum.

A number of officials who attended the meeting included Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, and Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid.

In addition, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, the TNI Commander Agus Subiyanto, and the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi were also present.

Other officials who also attended the meeting included Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Tandyo Budi Revita, Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari, President Director of PT Pindad Sigit P. Santosa, Head of the Defense Logistics Agency of the Ministry of Defense Yusuf Jauhari, and Pertamina Commissioner Hasan Nasbi.

The Presidential Secretariat in its official broadcast stated that the meeting in Hambalang reflected the government's efforts to ensure that various national strategic programs run according to plan, while maintaining the stability of the supply of basic necessities and energy so that the public can live through Ramadan and celebrate Eid al-Fitr safely and comfortably.
