JAKARTA - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Monday stated that the Iranian armed forces had successfully launched the 30th wave of attacks against US and Israeli targets in the Middle East using drones and hypersonic and ballistic missiles.

"Together with the election of the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, the 30th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out with 100 percent success," the IRGC said, as quoted by state television station IRIB as reported by ANTARA from Sputnik, Monday, March 9.

The statement added that the attack targeted "US terrorist bases" in the region as well as the northern occupied region using Khorramshahr, Fattah, and Kheibar missiles, as well as strategic drones.

On the same day, Bahrain's National Communications Center said the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) facility in the village of Maameer was set on fire after an Iranian attack.

The agency said the attack caused no material damage and firefighters had managed to put out the fire.

Previously on February 28, the United States and Israel launched an attack on targets in Iran, including in Tehran, causing damage and casualties among civilians.

On the first day of the conflict, a girls' school in Iran was hit by an attack that killed many students who were studying. Iran retaliated by attacking Israeli territory and US military bases throughout the Middle East.
