The allocation of the part-time PPPK THR still depends on the decision of the Central Government

SERANG - The Banten Provincial Government stated that the certainty of the amount and time of the Eid Al-Fitr Allowance (THR) for the State Civil Service (ASN) Government Employees with Work Agreement (PPPK) part-time is still waiting for an official circular from the central government.

Head of the Banten Provincial Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Mahdani, explained that until now his party had not received technical instructions regarding the percentage of the THR amount to be given this year.

"The circulation has not yet been issued. Whether 50 or 100 percent, we don't know yet, it's a decision at the center," said Mahdani, quoted by Antara.

In addition to waiting for central regulations, Mahdani explained that there were differences in the budgeting mechanism between full-time and part-time PPPK in the Banten Provincial Government environment. For full-time PPPK, the THR allocation has been prepared and attached to the employee spending position because the salary is paid directly through BPKAD.

Meanwhile, for part-time PPPK, the mechanism for granting them still follows the operational budget scheme in each Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) where they serve.

"If the full-time PPPK salary is transferred directly from BPKAD, then the THR is from there. If the part-time PPPK is included in the operations in the OPD," he said.

This difference is due to the status of full-time PPPK budgeting which is recorded in employee expenses, while part-time PPPK is currently still categorized in the operational expenses of each institution.
