The Commander Receives Try Sutrisno's Body to Be Buried in a Military Way

JAKARTA - The TNI Commander, General TNI Agus Subiyanto, received the body of the 6th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Try Sutrisno, to be buried in a military manner after being prayed for at the Sunda Kelapa Mosque, Central Jakarta.

The ceremony for the reception of Try Sutrisno's body was led by General Agus Subiyantodi on the grounds of the Sunda Kelapa Mosque.

At 12.50 WIB, the body was received by the military from the family to the TNI, to be buried in a military cemetery in Kalibata Heroes Cemetery, South Jakarta.

Try Sutrisno's coffin was also carried by eight Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) personnel accompanied by a drum procession from the mosque yard to the hearse.

The entire procession was carried out with piety and order. The public and families followed the procession of the deceased.

The 6th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Sutrisno, died at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto, Jakarta, on Monday morning at around 07.00 WIB.

Information regarding the death of Try Sutrisno was conveyed through a chain message sent on behalf of the family and the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) and was confirmed by several officials in the State Secretariat Ministry and the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres).

In the information, Try Sutrisno's body will be bathed at RSPAD. Then taken to the funeral home at Jalan Purwakarta Number 6, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
