JAKARTA - The Satlantas of the Central Jakarta Metro Police conducted a urine test on the driver of a black Toyota Calya who drove recklessly on Jalan Gunung Sahari, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

In addition, the driver of the Toyota Calya named Hafiz Mahendra (25) from Surabaya also used a fake number plate. At the time of the incident, Hafiz used the plate D 1640 AHB.

From the results of the search, the police also found 4 pairs of different Motor Vehicle Number Plates (TNKB).

In addition to finding many vehicle number plates, the police also found one toy firearm and two sharp weapons of the machete and badik type.

During the arrest, the police found a woman in the front seat next to the driver of a black Toyota Calya that was speeding.

Kompol Arry said the incident occurred on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the afternoon at around 17.20 WIB.

"The driver who was secured was initialed HM (25) from Surabaya. He was secured after hitting several road users," he said.

As a result of the incident, there were no injuries or deaths. However, the car driven by the perpetrator suffered damage in the back, broken glass, dents on the front body and others.

"Before the accident occurred, the driver of the car with the license plate D 1640 AHB with the initials HM. The car was traveling from north to south on Jalan Gunung Sahari," he said.

Arriving near the Halte Lapangan Banteng, continued the Head of Police, when it was about to be stopped by the police officer, the vehicle continued to go and continued to go south.

"When they arrived in front of Jalan Gunung Sahari IV, the vehicle turned left into Jalan Gunung Sahari IV and drove to Jalan Bungur Besar Raya," he said.

The car driven by the perpetrator also turned left on Jalan Bungur, when it arrived at Jalan Gunung Sahari V, the car driven by the perpetrator then turned left against the direction.

"Right at the four-way traffic light of MBAL, it turns out that the car is still driving on Jalan DR Sutomo towards the East. When it arrived near the Bintang Baru Hotel, the vehicle turned west to return to the MBAL TL Junction. Then the car turned left onto Gunung Sahari road towards the North until the Pintu Besi area four-way junction," he said.

The car turned around against the flow. Right on the South direction of Gunung Sahari road until it stopped near the Golden Truly Busway Stop, the perpetrator's car was actually the target of the mass attack.

"The cause of the accident is still in the process of investigation. The evidence seized by the Laka Unit is a Calya car with the number D 1640 AHB belonging to the perpetrator," said the Head of Police.

Until now, the perpetrator of the collision of several vehicles is still being questioned further at the Central Jakarta Police.
