Truck Driver Complains of Preman Lighting Action at UP PKB Cilincing

JAKARTA - A truck driver with the initials MAP complained about alleged acts of gangsterism in the form of extortion by a group of people around the motor vehicle testing (KIR) of the Motor Vehicle Testing Management Unit (UP PKB Cilincing) on Jalan Raya Cakung-Cilincing, Semper Timur, Cilincing District, North Jakarta.

"The driver admitted that he was asked for parking money by five men who were at the location forcibly for Rp. 20,000, although he only stopped for a moment at the location, wanted to enter the UP PKB Cilincing," said Cilincing Police Chief AKP Bobi Subasri, quoting ANTARA, Wednesday.

He said the action had been reported to the Cilincing Police about the unpleasant act in front of the Cilincing PKB UP.

He said officers immediately checked the scene and after the officers conducted a search, the perpetrators were no longer at the location.

"The perpetrator is no longer at the location," he said.

He said officers were continuing to investigate the report and were pursuing the perpetrators.

"We are still pursuing the perpetrators," he said.
