JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Social Service Division is hunting for the whereabouts of a woman who went viral on social media for allegedly repeatedly not paying for food, online motorcycle taxis (ojol), and public transportation.

Head of the West Jakarta Social Service Sub-Office, Fajar Laksono, admitted that he had received a number of reports regarding the woman's actions. He said officers had been deployed to track the whereabouts of the person concerned.

"For the report against the residents, we have followed up on this day, we are conducting periodic screening," said Fajar when confirmed in Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, February 24.

Tracking is carried out by the Social Control and Control Service Task Force (Satgas P3S) at the Cengkareng and Kalideres guard posts. The joint team combed a number of points in the Cengkareng area to catch the woman to be taken to a social welfare institution.

However, based on the information from traders and motorcycle taxi drivers around the location, no one recognized or ever saw the woman in question.

"The team asked and sought information from traders and motorcycle taxi drivers, they had never seen and no one recognized the mothers," said Fajar.

According to him, the main obstacle in tracking is the habit of the woman who often moves.

"The information is that the residents are indeed moving in action, so they haven't met. Regarding the latest attention, we will do a re-thickening at our monitoring point," he said.

After the latest information circulated that the woman's action went viral again in the Srengseng area, Kembangan, the Sudinsos immediately deployed a team to follow up on reports of residents' unrest.

The P3S Task Force has also coordinated with online taxi drivers in the field. Officers urged drivers to immediately take the woman to the nearest Social Service post if they found her again, for further handling.
