KPK Will Cooperate With The Ministry Of Defense To Educate 24 Employees Who Did Not Pass TWK

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri said 24 employees who were declared not to have passed the National Insight Test (TWK) assessment would carry out state defense education. In its implementation, the KPK will cooperate with a number of parties, including the Ministry of Defense.

"The 24 are given the opportunity to take part in state defense training and national insight and we need to cooperate with other parties because indeed we cannot do the work alone," said Firli at a press conference held at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta , Tuesday, June 1st.

The former deputy for enforcement did not elaborate on this state defense education. However, he said that a meeting had been held with the ministry led by Prabowo Subianto.

"Informally we have discussed with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.

Furthermore, the KPK leadership will also hold a meeting of 24 employees from 75 people who have not passed the TWK. They will later be invited to talk about state defense education activities.

"We will talk to 24 (employees, red) later because of course we will talk to you about attending education, whether we are willing to participate or not. But what is clear is that we are the leadership of the KPK, Mr. Secretary General and all of us here are one unit that we are doing to find the best solution. ," he insisted.

It was previously reported that 51 KPK employees out of a total of 75 employees who did not pass the TWK were confirmed to be fired from their jobs as of 1 November. While it is still possible to train 24 employees, even if they do not pass the training on state defense and national insight, they can also be fired.

The National Insight Test (TWK) was attended by 1,351 KPK employees. Of these, 1,274 people were declared eligible.

Meanwhile, 75 employees, including Novel Baswedan, Chairman of the KPK Employee Forum who is also investigator Yudi Purnomo, Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign Giri Suprapdiono, Head of the KPK Task Force Harun Al-Rasyid, and Director of PJKAKI Sujarnarko were declared ineligible (TMS). Next, two other employees did not attend the interview test.
