JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto expressed the hope that Muslims in Indonesia could carry out Ramadan in a calm, cool, and sufficient atmosphere for every family.

At the end of his speech, the President congratulated the one hundredth anniversary of Nahdlatul Ulama as a religious organization that has an important role in the journey of the Indonesian nation.

The Mujahadah Kubro which took place on February 7-8, 2026, is the culmination of a series of NU Centennial Harlah commemorations organized by the East Java PWNU.

The event is estimated to be attended by around 105 thousand people, consisting of 77,541 people from the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch (PCNU) throughout East Java and around 27,000 NU Muslimat residents. The congregation used 1,183 buses, 6,465 cars and 5,413 motorcycles.

The activity was attended by members of the Red and White Cabinet, charismatic ulama and kiai, NU Central Board, NU East Java Regional Board, and tens of thousands of Nahdliyin residents from various regions.
