Anies' Subordinates Exposed To COVID-19, KPK Cancels Investigation Of Corruption Case At House Of DP Rp0

JAKARTA - Assistant for the Economy and Finance of the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary Sri Haryati was not present at the KPK examination as a witness related to the case of corruption in the Rp0 DP house yesterday. Originally, he would be questioned as a witness for the suspect, former Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Cornelis Pinontoan.

Yoory is a suspect in alleged corruption in land acquisition for the Rp0 DP house program in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta.

Sri's absence turned out to be because the person concerned was confirmed positive for COVID-19 after undergoing the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test which was released on Monday, May 31, 2021. In fact, Sri had undergone two doses of COVID-19 vaccination last month.

"Yes, that's right, Mrs. Sri Haryati as the Assistant for the Economy and Finance of the Regional Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Province has tested positive for COVID-19," said the Head of the DKI Health Office when confirmed, Tuesday, June 1.

Widyastuti said, initially Sri Haryati experienced symptoms of COVID-19 such as being unable to smell and having flu. So, Sri was not present at the KPK examination and was immediately tested for COVID-19.

Currently, Sri is undergoing self-isolation so as not to transmit the corona virus to others. Not only that, all people who had direct contact with Sri in the last 14 days were also traced.

"We also closed the office on the 4th floor for room disinfection and implemented the Work From Home policy for ASN on the 4th floor of Block G City Hall," he said.

Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, previously stated that Sri Haryati had requested confirmation of her absence.

"The information we received confirmed that the person concerned did not attend due to illness," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters.

Furthermore, Sri will be rescheduled by investigators. However, it is not known when the recall will take place.
