In his speech at the National Coordination Meeting of the Central and Regional Government of the Ministry of Home Affairs, President Prabowo conveyed the big direction of national development was not merely pursuing the status of a high-income country, but ensuring the improvement of the quality of life of all people.

Meanwhile, in the energy sector, President Prabowo said energy independence is an important pillar in maintaining the sustainability of development. The government also continues to encourage the optimization of national resources so that Indonesia is not dependent on outsiders.
"Energy self-sufficiency, must! Later there will be a group, what can it be? It can! We have calculated, but we have extraordinary advantages," said the President.
The President explained that food and energy independence was the key to correcting the national economic structure, including reversing the flow of money so that it was not concentrated in big cities or abroad.
"Energy self-sufficiency, food self-sufficiency, we just have to change the flow of money from the village to the city, to the capital and abroad. We have to stop and reverse, among others, by eating free nutritious food. Our children must eat enough," he said.
