President: If you don't like Prabowo, please fight in 2029

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto stated that parties who do not like his leadership are welcome to compete democratically in the 2029 Presidential Election, without damaging the interests of the nation and state.

"So this is it, if you don't like 2-3 people, don't ruin the whole nation. If you don't like Prabowo, please, fight in 2029," said Prabowo at the 2026 Central Government and Regional Government Rakornas in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, Monday, February 2, reported by ANTARA.

The President made this statement while explaining the achievements of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) Program, which he considered had a real impact on the community.

The MBG program is currently said to have reached around 60 million beneficiaries and is targeted to increase to 82 million beneficiaries by December 2026.

In its implementation, to date there are 22,275 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) kitchens that have been operating.

With the number of kitchens that have been running, the President said the MBG program has created about one million jobs, with each kitchen employing about 50 people who receive daily income.

In addition to direct labor, the existence of the SPPG kitchen also encourages the involvement of food suppliers at the village level, ranging from vegetables, eggs, fish, chicken, to meat.

Each kitchen is estimated to involve 10 to 20 suppliers, so if the target of 82 million recipients is achieved, this program has the potential to create three to five million jobs.

The President emphasized that the people's need for jobs is one of the main focuses of the government.

"I prove to you, Prabowo Subianto as President of the Republic of Indonesia, I have produced 1 million jobs now. Only from MBG, and there are accusations to slander us as a nation," said the Head of State.

The President assessed that mutual insults and scolding, including actions that lead to riots, will not generate jobs or open new factories.

Prabowo emphasized that demonstrations were allowed according to legal provisions. However, actions that lead to burning and violence are criminal acts that endanger the nation and state.

"Demonstrations are allowed, but he does not expect demonstrations, he expects riots and riots that harm the nation and the state. Riots harm the nation and the state. Burning, molotov bombs, I say it is dangerous. It is a crime," he said.

The President expressed his belief that some groups who often trigger destructive actions are allegedly under the influence of foreign powers.

The President appealed to all citizens to be more concerned about the interests of the people and the nation, and to assess the government's achievements based on real results.

"If you want to demonstrate, please, but how do you want to demonstrate? You have 5 thousand times demonstrated, no factory will be opened. So these groups, consciously or unconsciously, I am sure they are controlled by foreign forces. I am sure, and I have proof," said the President.

"And I appeal to them, hey Indonesian citizens. Don't you feel sorry for your people? Brothers, I just showed you our stamps. And these stamps are real. Not omon-omon," he added.
