JAKARTA - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Papua Province Dance Yulian Flassy reported that the health condition of Papua Governor Lukas Enembe, who was previously ill, had recovered.

"His condition is healthy but he is still at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore," he said.

He explained that Governor Lukas Enembe still needed time to recover. "It is hoped that Governor Lukas Enembe will recover soon and gather here (in Papua) to carry out his existing duties," he said.

Previously, Spokesperson for the Governor of Papua Muhammad Rifai Darus said that the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, went to Singapore for treatment because of his poor health condition on May 9, 2021.
