Police Confirm Eggi Sudjana Reported Roy Suryo and His Lawyer to Polda Metro Jaya

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has confirmed two police reports against Roy Suryo and Ahmad Khozinudin regarding defamation.

Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, in his statement, Thursday, explained that the report was received on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at around 18.00-20.00 WIB from two reporters.

"The first report from Professor Eggi Sudjana, the reporting of Mr. Roy Suryo and Ahmad Khozinudin. This report is about defamation or slander through electronic media," said Budi.

Then, continued Budi, the second report came from Damai Hari Lubis who reported Ahmad Khozinudin about defamation, slander, and defamation through social media.

"This was conveyed in the description, where it was stated that the reporter heard, read and saw the statement of the traitor, the person concerned was suspected of being a traitor and was a tuyul-tuyul," said Budi.

Currently, he said, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation is preparing the administrative investigation, and will soon summon the two suspects in the near future.

"It is hoped that it will be scheduled this week or next week," said Budi.

Previously, Egi Sudjana and Damai Hari Lubis were known to have reported Roy Suryo and Ahmad Khozinudin with Article 433 and/or Article 434 of Law Number 1 of 2023 (KUHP) and/or Article 27A in conjunction with Article 45 paragraphs (4) and (6) of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning ITE.

Damai Hari Lubis who was met on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the Polda Metro Jaya while accompanying Habib Novel Chaidar Hasan or Novel Bamukmin said that Ahmad Khozinudin was considered to have defamed him.

"He (Khozinudin) said it was because I went there (Solo), that's called incitement. How can this accuse us? This (report) is the result of that," said Damai.

After being confirmed regarding the truth that the report was in line with Egi Sudjana's report, Damai said the report was different.

"My own number, different report number, if I'm just Khozinudin, if Bang Egi, Khozinudin plus Roy Suryo," said Damai.
