JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo showed off the achievements of the National Police in successfully implementing the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program of the Prabowo Subianto government, especially the provision of kitchens or Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG). In a meeting to evaluate the performance of the National Police with the DPR Commission III, Listyo said that the National Police SPPG had met the target.

"In other fields related to the free nutritious meal program, the National Police is also directly involved. Some time ago we targeted 100 SPPG on July 1, 2025, but it turns out that we have exceeded the target," said Listyo at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, January 26.

"Currently we have built 1,160 SPPG and we have a target by the end of 2026, we have 1,500 SPPG," he continued.

Listyo revealed that the SPPG Polri has advantages, one of which is having a food security program. In its implementation, the National Police uses test kits and so far the SPPG Polri has zero accidents.

"In addition to this, we also have 16 SPPGs that have advantages, including being built around the SPPGs there are green houses, swimming pools, chicken coops, laying chicken feed factories, and central warehouses to supply the needs of other SPPGs, for example in the DIY province," he said.

Then regarding maintaining food price stability, added Listyo, the National Police is also actively involved to ensure that prices and price stability are maintained.

"Especially the nine important basic commodities that are always a concern. To keep the price from being far or the same as HET," he concluded.
