JAKARTA - Former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo denied information that he was at the house of his father-in-law, Fuad Hasan Masyhur, the boss of Maktour Travel when the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) carried out a search.
This was conveyed by Dito after undergoing an examination as a witness to the alleged corruption in determining quotas and the implementation of the 2023-2024 Hajj pilgrimage at the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag). The house of Fuad was searched by investigators in September 2025.
Fuad is also one of the parties who are on the list of those who are prevented from going abroad with the former Minister of Religion (Menag) Yaqut Cholil Qoumas and staff in particular, Ishfah Abidal Aziz alias Gus Alex.
"I was not at the location where my wife was still there," Dito told reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, January 23.
Even so, Dito claimed that his wife's presence at Fuad's house was a normal thing.
