The Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bekasi Regency, Muchlis, said that heavy rain for a full day again flooded Bekasi Regency, making the flood more widespread after it was previously declared to be gradually receding.

He explained that the evacuation point for flood victims is currently spread across seven sub-districts in the most severely affected areas, including Babelan, Cikarang Utara, Karangbahagia, Sukakarya, Sukawangi, Tambun Selatan and Tambun Utara Sub-district.
"In Sukawangi District there are four points, South Tambun three points. Then in Babelan, Cikarang Utara and Tambun one point. The location is using public facilities, houses of worship, boarding schools to houses of community leaders," he said.
