Even the elementary school (SD) education to high school (SMA) education was taken in his hometown. Maidi himself is known to have graduated from Madiun State High School 3. After graduating from high school, he only continued his education outside the city, namely Surabaya and Jakarta.

Maidi is recorded to continue his education at several universities, namely IKIP Surabaya (UNESA), UNMER Madiun, Universitas Satyagama Jakarta, Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya, and Universitas Terbuka (UT) Surabaya.

Maidi's career

Maidi began his service journey in the world of government in 1988 as a CPNS at SMP 2 Pilangkenceng. A year later, he began serving as a teacher at SMUN 1 Madiun. The educator's profession was carried out with dedication until 2002. For more than a decade, Maidi was active in educational activities and student coaching.

In 2002, Maidi was entrusted to be the Head of SMUN 2 Madiun. In the same year, he was entrusted as the Head of the General Affairs Section at the Madiun City Education and Culture Office. This position was held until 2003 and marked his transition to the bureaucratic realm of government.

Maidi's career in local government continued to grow. He then served as Head of the Regional Revenue Service of Madiun City in the period 2006 to 2009. In this position, he was directly involved in managing and increasing regional revenue.

In 2009, Maidi was appointed as the Regional Secretary of Madiun City. This strategic position was held until 2018. This role made him experienced in cross-regional coordination and the adoption of important policies.
