"We are honest, it can be said that we are amazed because he is very humble. He also greeted many people, from the KBRI team to students, we feel happy, because we have welcomed him, and he finally welcomed us back well," he said.
They also expressed the hope that the plan for educational cooperation between Indonesia and the UK could be further strengthened, especially with leading universities in the UK.
Apart from the education sector, the students hope that President Prabowo's leadership in the future can bring equitable progress in various fields.
"Not only in the field of education, but in the field of health, and jobs, and others. But, for the future, we hope that everything will go smoothly, and its success, of course," they added.
Meanwhile, Azka, a third-year student at Oxford University majoring in Engineering, admitted that he was touched to be able to meet President Prabowo in London.
Azka also hopes that the knowledge he has gained in the field of science and technology can later be contributed to the progress of Indonesia.
"I hope to use my engineering knowledge to help advance Indonesia, and contribute to efforts to develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to advance our country," he said.
President Prabowo's presence in the midst of the Indonesian diaspora in London is a reflection of the country's attention to the Indonesian young generation who are studying abroad.
