Hanging Porta Tumanggor, 2 Housewives In Simalungun Arrested By Police, Rp 2.5 Million In Money And Rings Confiscated

JAKARTA - The joint team of Sub-Directorate III Jahtanras North Sumatra Police in collaboration with the Simalungun Police arrested two housewives suspected of killing Porta boru Tumanggor (52) a resident of Nagori Tano Tinggir, Simalungun Regency.

North Sumatra Police Criminal Investigation Director Kombes Tatan Dirsan Atmaja through the Head of Sub-Directorate III/Jahtanras AKBP Taryono confirmed the arrest of the two murderers. The two are HT (45) and AS (40).

"The case is still being developed," said Taryono when confirmed, Sunday, May 30, as reported by Antara.

Based on the information obtained, the two perpetrators of the murder, HT and AS are residents of Huta Tinggi, Purba District, Simalungun Regency.

From the results of the investigation, the joint team found out that the perpetrator was staying at the Hawai Hotel Jalan Djamin Ginting Medan, Saturday, May 29 yesterday.

The officers then moved to the location and arrested the two perpetrators. The perpetrators admitted that they had killed the victim.

From the two perpetrators, officers confiscated evidence in the form of two units of cellphones that had just been purchased with money belonging to the victim taken from the bag, two rings belonging to the victim, and IDR 2.5 million in cash.

The arrest of the two women, after officers conducted an investigation into the discovery of the corpse of the victim Porta boru Tumanggor in a hanging position by the neck using a long cloth, last Thursday, May 27.

The body of the victim was found by a farmer in the cultivation area of Tinggir Hamlet, Tano Tinggir Village, Purba District, Simalungun Regency.
